Calendar and events
Rehearsals, gigs and activities, with who is invited, the call time and the notifications.
On the free planSeventeen modules for the day-to-day of a real band: inviting everyone to Tuesday’s rehearsal, knowing on Saturday that you’re two cornets short, giving every player their part and closing the books after the Christmas concerts. Each band switches on the ones it uses and switches off the rest, and when you switch one off its data is kept for when you need it again.
Rehearsals, gigs and activities in a calendar every player carries on their phone, with the call time and the notifications. Each player says whether they’re coming, checks in on arrival or is ticked off when attendance is taken, says whether they’re getting on the coach and at which stop, and anything they still need to answer shows up as a task.

When you register your band you choose its type and Melodistic switches on the usual modules: Calendar, Availability, Attendance, Transport and Music library for every band; Seating chart and Deps for concert and brass bands, marching and bugle bands, music groups and street bands; Engagement for the first three, and Uniforms for marching bands and music groups. You switch the rest on from Settings whenever you need them, and off the same way: the data is kept and comes back when you switch them on again. Some go together: Availability, Attendance, Seating chart, Transport and Engagement need the Calendar; Repertoire tracking needs the Music library, and Deps needs the Seating chart. Members and Statistics are always on.
If you have up to 20 players, Melodistic is free forever with every module except five: Music library, Repertoire tracking, Deps, Inventory and Finances. Those five, and bands with more than 20 players, are on the paid plans, from €100 a year (or €10 a month) with VAT included, and you can try everything with your band for 30 days first.
Switch on the Calendar and Availability this week and leave the rest for when you need it. You have 30 days with everything to try it with your band.
